We have arrived in Port Matalvi to stay the night. We have been beating to windward for the last few days and are a little bushed so will shower and rest for the night and leave tomorrow early for Subic Bay.
It has been an eventful day closing the coast and seeing the beautiful hills and mountains of Luzon.
Lots of shipping traffic both ways and the dreaded Luzon current which is always present unless really close to the beach, the water depth is 1000M and a lovely colour.
We have already had visitors who want to engage in constructive political discussions but we just want them to go away.
