Yes, we almost forgot to mention that we are now 'home' in our marina berth at MBTBC Marina, Manly Boat Harbour.
After dropping anchor at 2:30 a.m. at the Sandhills on Moreton Island for a few hours sleep, we headed on into the marina. We arrived just after 9:00 a.m. with a very excited 3-year old grandson there to welcome us. Our daughter, her husband and 1-year old granddaughter were also there and it was fantastic to see them all again.
Strangely, coming across Moreton Bay and into the Marina we felt as if we had never been away. A lot of the same boats were still there, some of the same people and it all seemed so familiar. Plus, the Bay was in a good mood with a light breeze, flat seas and blue sky. Then a busy day catching up with friends, putting covers up, etc. and then off to a street Christmas party with our daughter before finally falling into bed!
Position: 27 27.29 S, 153 11.315 E
