As the New Year creeps up on us just a quick update. Jon has been kept very busy in Miri, draining the fuel tanks, fitting inspection ports and cleaning out all the gunk which has been causing us problems over the last couple of years. Hopefully he has been able to rid the tanks of the bug this time. He has also been having a very social time with the other cruisers coming, going or staying. In the meantime Pam has been busy in Australia and has spent the last month in Brisbane getting to know 16-month old Alfred even better.
We will both meet up later today in Singapore and fly off to London to spend Christmas with our younger daughter and her partner. Another cold Christmas is in store for us but after last year in Fukuoka we know what to expect.
We plan to be back in Miri some time in January. We wish all our friends both land-based and those afloat a safe, happy and healthy festive season!
