Jon has joined David on Taipan to sail from Cocos Keeling Islands to Mauritius, (see previous blog). They departed on Sunday 19 August and expect to make their first landfall at Port Mathurin, on Rodriguez Island. This first leg should take about 14 days give or take a few days, depending on weather and conditions.
