Arrived in Yanai just after midday, passing under the Obatake Bridge slightly before the tide turned in our favour. We hope to go direct to Himeshima, Oita Prefecture, Kyushu, from here but another near-gale warning has been issued so will wait and see what the morning brings before venturing out into the open waters of the Inland Sea.
