With a near-gale warning issued we will spend the next day or two moored in Tobata. The rain has stopped and the clouds have almost cleared though, so, with time on our hands we paid a visit to the nearby Tobata Seaside Spa (not sure where the sea is) where we enjoyed a soak in the hot baths. Much more relaxing than a quick shower aboard the boat with thoughts of conserving water on our minds. First, a long hot wash and shampoo, before entering the segregated baths. Water temperature is about 40 deg C and the heat soaks right into the body. Pity we had to come back out into the cold wind blowing.
Shortly after lunchtime we had a visit from a man from Nippon Steel, who now own the pontoon. Apparently it has been condemned as unsafe and we should not be here! Oops! We did notice that it was kind of rusty but, hey, it's free. He has kindly let us stay for another couple of days until the weather moderates for us to continue our passage into the Inland Sea.
