A very busy time in Olongapo City in Subic Bay - refuelling, reprovisioning, laundry to be done, plus the extortionate business of clearing in and then out within two days!! The wallet was a lot thinner by the time they left.
After customs and immigration clearance yesterday afternoon they left the Subic Bay Marina for the fuel dock across the bay and then anchored out for the night. They departed the bay this morning about 0500 for the 800+ NM to Miri in Sarawak. Their route will take them south on the east coast of Palawan Island, through the Balabac Straits and then along the northwest coast of Borneo past Sabah and Brunei to Miri. If necessary there are places they can call into along the way.
Position reports will be posted once they are received along the way.
