We have had a beautiful sail from about 0430 yesterday morning when I turned off the engine until 1400 - water was flat and the breeze was just forward of the beam so sailed 43 miles. The wind then dropped out so motoring again. Today has dawned with flat seas and very light NE breeze with no cloud. A beautiful day after a night of thunderstorms all around giving a good light show. Only got rained on once but not enough to wash all the booby poo off.
We will pass through the Balabac Straits main channel some time this afternoon so we will be out of the Philippines and into Malaysia.
