Departed Isso yesterday morning and did a 138 NM overnight passage to Daikuma, Amami Oshima. The weather was settled and we had light conditions with no fog or rain - until we arrived off Daikuma this morning when the drizzle started. It has been raining on and off since which is no surrprise as it is the rainy season here! We will stay for a day or two before doing another overnight passage to Okinawa with maybe one stop along the way.
Since we were in Daikuma last year the wharf has been taken over by out-of-work barges and fishing boats! Apparently sailing boats should try and find a tie-up in Naze instead.
