We have been very busy on Tweed, removing sails and stowing gear below or ensuring it is well tied on. We still have the canvas to remove but that can wait another day.
We had a very good stroke of luck yesterday after being moved down the visitor's dock to the southern end where we had a bit more protection from the haulout facility. Two nice men came along to tell us the owner of berth #6 would not be needing it for at least a week and that we should move there straight away. We did! Now we are in a very good berth which is longer than Tweed and have lines tied off in all directions.
After several days of overcast weather, the cloud cleared this morning and it is almost eerily quiet.
