Jon and Chris arrived in Ishigaki last night, Sunday, at 2200 and dropped the anchor to get some sleep before moving into the fishermen's harbour this morning. They had a good sail in 20-25 knots with 3-4 seas on a broad reach and then a shy run, taking 39 hours to do the 245 nautical miles at an average of 6.3 knots.
Today they have spent their time doing passage planning for the trip to Subic Bay, Philippines. They will probably leave on Wednesday as the weather is looking good to go direct rather than via Taiwan. Tomorrow they will be refuelling, reprovisioning and preparing for passage.
